Registered Nurse – ICU

Aspirus is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to deliver expert, compassionate critical care at our Woodruff facility in Oconto County, Wisconsin. If you thrive in fast-paced intensive care settings and bring proven travel nursing experience, this full-time opportunity is built for you.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse - ICU with Aspirus in Woodruff, you will care for critically ill patients who require close monitoring and advanced clinical intervention. This is an on-site, full-time position suited to a seasoned nurse comfortable working independently within a collaborative intensive care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver direct nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
• Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining strict patient safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly and communicate clearly with physicians and the broader care team.
• Apply emergency response skills, including ACLS protocols, when patient acuity demands it.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• At least one completed prior travel assignment.
