About the Role
As an experienced HVAC Service Technician with Team Bob's Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial heating and cooling systems throughout Grand Traverse County. This is an on-site, full-time position for a motivated professional who takes pride in solving problems and keeping customers comfortable year-round. (This role is not remote.)
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to keep systems running efficiently
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and businesses, explaining issues and recommended solutions
- Complete service calls accurately and on schedule while upholding safety standards
- Document work performed and maintain clean, professional job sites
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience as an HVAC Service Technician (recent training also welcomed)
- Working knowledge of heating and cooling system diagnostics and repair
- Strong customer-service mindset and dependable work habits
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across the service area
