About the Role

As a Road Diesel Technician with Monroe Tractor, you will operate as a mobile service professional, traveling to customer sites throughout the Westborough area to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot diesel-powered machinery. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems for construction and agricultural equipment
• Respond to on-site service calls and complete road repairs efficiently to minimize customer downtime
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and service findings for each job
• Communicate clearly with customers and the service team to recommend follow-up repairs or preventive maintenance
• Maintain a safe, organized service vehicle and follow all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as a diesel technician or mechanic, ideally servicing heavy or off-highway equipment
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics
• Ability to work independently in a mobile, field-service capacity
• Valid driver's license and a clean, professional approach to customer-facing work
