About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Electrician Journeyman to work as part of our maintenance team. Operating with substantial autonomy, you'll diagnose, repair, and upgrade the industrial electrical infrastructure that keeps our facility running reliably. This is a full-time position where your technical expertise directly impacts production uptime and workplace safety.
What You'll Do
- Layout, install, and troubleshoot complicated electrical circuits and industrial equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on motors, control systems, and electrical components
- Read, interpret, and follow electrical blueprints and technical schematics
- Test electrical systems and diagnose faults using proper testing equipment
- Apply technical expertise to PLC systems, variable frequency drives, and automation controls
- Ensure all work meets OSHA regulations and facility safety standards
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate work records
What We're Looking For
- Valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
