About the Role
As a DSP and Caregiver, you'll be at the heart of our mission, delivering individualized support that enables adults with developmental disabilities to live with dignity and pursue their goals. This is hands-on work that directly impacts the people we serve every day.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, nutrition support, and household tasks
- Support individuals in accessing community activities, employment, and educational opportunities
- Help build life skills that promote independence and self-advocacy
- Maintain safe, respectful living environments and respond appropriately to health or behavioral needs
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and families to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols and procedures
- Model dignity, respect, and compassionate support in all interactions
