About the Role

As Division Vice President of Land Acquisitions at DRB Homes, you'll direct all aspects of our division's land business—from identifying and acquiring new properties to shepherding them through design, planning, and entitlement phases. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with municipal agencies, utility providers, development partners, and internal teams while setting strategy that drives long-term growth and profitability across our Dallas operations.

What You'll Do

• Plan and direct land acquisition strategy aligned with divisional growth and market objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and execute land acquisitions that meet financial and strategic criteria
• Oversee feasibility studies, site planning, and preliminary design coordination for new properties
• Navigate entitlement and regulatory processes with municipal and county agencies
• Establish and maintain relationships with public agencies, utilities, vendors, and development partners
• Lead cross-functional coordination between acquisitions, design, construction, and sales teams
• Analyze market data and competitive landscape to inform acquisition decisions
• Report on acquisition pipeline, project timelines, and financial performance to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in land acquisitions, development, or real estate strategy, ideally in residential homebuilding
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-phase projects from acquisition through entitlement
• Strong relationships with municipal agencies, regulatory bodies, and development partners
• Demonstrated success in financial analysis, feasibility assessment, and deal evaluation
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups
• Deep knowledge of land development, entitlement processes, and residential real estate markets
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills across diverse audiences
