Director, Partnerships

Role Overview

The Director, Partnerships will oversee the strategic direction and execution of partnership programs across the dentsu Media practice in the United States. This role sits within Amplifi, dentsu's commercial innovation arm, where you'll develop and cultivate relationships that amplify value and drive tangible outcomes for both the organization and its clients. You'll be instrumental in identifying, negotiating, and scaling partnerships that fuel growth, efficiency, and market impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies aligned with dentsu's growth objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partnership opportunities across the media ecosystem
• Lead partnership negotiations and manage ongoing relationship development with key stakeholders
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between internal teams to ensure successful partnership implementation
• Monitor partnership performance against established metrics and continuously optimize outcomes
• Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships team
• Present partnership insights and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate strategy at a senior level
• Proven track record closing and scaling strategic partnerships within the media, technology, or advertising sectors
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading complex projects
• Deep understanding of the media landscape and emerging industry trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred
