What You'll Do
- Design operational frameworks, staffing structures, and service models for utility-scale battery energy storage maintenance
- Establish maintenance protocols, safety procedures, and performance standards for energy storage installations
- Build and direct operations teams responsible for managing battery storage facility performance and uptime
- Collaborate with SOLV Energy's solar and electrical substation divisions to integrate services and maximize customer value
- Develop business strategy, identify market opportunities, and drive revenue growth for the O&M service line
- Manage financial performance, budgets, and profitability metrics for the battery storage business unit
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to energy storage industry standards and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience launching and scaling new business lines or service offerings in energy infrastructure
- Technical expertise in battery energy storage system operations, maintenance, and performance optimization
- Proven leadership managing operations teams across multiple utility-scale energy projects
- Strong background in operations and maintenance business models and financial management
- Experience building distributed operations networks and managing geographically dispersed teams
- Understanding of renewable energy market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and technical standards
