The Opportunity
This senior leadership position at Cogentanalytics is pivotal in driving profitable growth across the company. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, strengthening the sales organization, and identifying new markets and revenue streams. You will serve as a bridge between the company's growth strategy and execution, actively pursuing opportunities rather than simply managing existing business.
Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, profitability, pipeline development, customer retention, market expansion, and the effectiveness of QRC’s overall sales efforts. The Director of Business Development works closely with the CEO, CFO, operational leaders, sales team, and marketing team to ensure the company's growth is intentional, profitable, and scalable.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities across HVAC & Refrigeration Operations
- Expanding existing customer relationships and driving customer retention
- Strengthening the sales organization to align with company growth goals
- Identifying and entering new markets and revenue streams
- Working closely with CEO, CFO, operational leaders, sales team, and marketing team on strategic initiatives
