About This Position
The Director of Business Development is a senior leadership role at Cogentanalytics. The primary responsibility is to drive profitable growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. This position acts as the bridge between the company's strategic goals and their execution, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, pipeline development, customer retention, market expansion, and overall sales effectiveness.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships
- Strengthening the sales organization to ensure intentional, profitable, and scalable growth
- Identifying and entering new markets and revenue streams
- Working closely with the CEO, CFO, operational leaders, sales team, and marketing team to align strategies for growth
- Maintaining a focus on revenue growth, profitability, pipeline development, customer retention, market expansion, and overall sales effectiveness
