About the Role
As Director of Congress Strategy and Execution within our Global Medical Affairs organization, you will direct non-promotional scientific communications that strengthen our marketplace presence and support healthcare provider engagement. You'll develop strategic congress initiatives aligned with broader medical affairs objectives, ensuring our participation in major industry meetings drives measurable outcomes for our CNS business.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute comprehensive congress strategies that advance medical affairs priorities and support business objectives
- Oversee scientific content development and presentation materials for congressional participation and key opinion leader engagement
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of congress-related activities and on-time delivery
- Establish and maintain relationships with key scientific advisors and thought leaders in the central nervous system field
- Monitor industry events and competitive positioning to identify strategic opportunities and market gaps
- Ensure all scientific communications comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies
- Track metrics and outcomes to measure effectiveness and refine future strategy
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a life sciences discipline
- 5+ years of medical affairs, scientific communications, or related pharmaceutical experience
- Proven success in strategic planning and managing complex cross-functional initiatives
- Deep understanding of CNS therapeutics and the medical affairs landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in pharmaceutical communications
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence across organizational boundaries
