Role Overview

The Director, Corporate Audit Services role at Intactfc in 2 Locations places you at the helm of the corporate audit function, where you set strategic direction, uphold independence, and deliver objective insights that protect organizational value. You will partner with senior stakeholders to keep audit work tightly aligned with evolving risks while building a high-performing team across the sites.

What You'll Do

• Shape multi-year audit strategies and annual work plans that address key residual risks.
• Lead and coach audit professionals, balancing resource allocation with delivery timelines.
• Oversee end-to-end reviews of financial, operational, and compliance processes to surface control gaps and practical enhancements.
• Prepare clear reports and present findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
• Track remediation progress and ensure documented assurance over policy adherence and regulatory expectations.
• Champion progressive audit techniques, data analytics, and continuous monitoring approaches.

What We're Looking For

• Substantial leadership experience directing corporate or internal audit programs at a comparable senior level.
• Solid command of risk assessment, internal control frameworks, and assurance methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues concisely to boards, executives, and operational teams.
• Strong planning, judgment, and influence skills suited to a multi-location setting.
• Professional certifications in accounting or auditing are considered an asset.
