Data Migration Specialist (Syniti) – Remote (Richmond, IN, US, 47374)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential manufacturing technology organization seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join their digital transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, requiring deep expertise in SAP data migration and Syniti toolsets.

We are looking for a professional who can lead complex data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and alignment with enterprise SAP implementations. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver critical data transformation projects that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects for SAP implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
• Configure and optimize data migration tools including Syniti ADMM and BODS for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Develop comprehensive data migration plans covering data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Conduct data profiling and quality analysis to identify and resolve issues prior to migration execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping requirements, project scope, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with technical teams to design efficient data migration workflows and processes
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards throughout all migration activities
• Execute mock cycles and validation approaches aligned with data migration methodology best practices

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration for greenfield or brownfield projects
• Expert-level proficiency with data migration methodology including mock cycles and validation approaches
• Proven experience with Syniti tools (ADMM/SKP, Knowledge Platform) and modules including Reporting Hub, Migrate, and Construct
• Strong working knowledge of LTMC, DMC, BODS, and legacy SAP tools (LSMW, MASS)
• Deep understanding of SAP modules and data structures (S/4HANA, ECC)
• Extensive knowledge of SAP data models including Materials, Business Partners, BOMs, and Routings
• Experience with configurable materials, material classes, and characteristics
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and data quality focus
• Strong communication abilities to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred qualifications: SAP technical certification, Syniti ADMM certification, exposure to Variant Configuration (VC or AVC)
