D365 SCM Functional with Manufacturing

Hitachi Solutions is hiring a D365 SCM Functional with Manufacturing specialist to join our consulting practice in Bangalore North, BANGALORE NORTH, IN. This is a full-time opportunity for a functional consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and manufacturing module configuration.

About This Position

We are seeking an experienced functional consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management solutions for manufacturing-focused clients. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business requirements into robust D365 configurations that optimise production workflows, inventory management, and procurement processes. This role combines hands-on system expertise with strategic consulting to help organisations achieve operational excellence through their D365 investments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse detailed business requirements from manufacturing clients across production planning, inventory, procurement, and warehouse management functions
• Configure D365 Supply Chain Management modules to align with manufacturing-specific workflows and regulatory requirements
• Design solution architectures and scope implementations based on client needs and best practices
• Conduct functional testing and provide training to ensure successful system adoption
• Provide post-implementation support and optimisation recommendations
• Collaborate with development teams and other consultants to deliver integrated solutions

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing and configuring D365 Supply Chain Management modules
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, bill of materials, routing, and quality management
• Expertise in inventory, warehouse, and procurement processes within D365
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations
• Experience with system testing, data migration, and cutover activities
• Excellent communication and consulting skills with ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
• Relevant certifications in D365 SCM or related Microsoft technologies preferred
