CT Technologist (Part Time) – Bucks

What This Role Involves

As a CT Technologist at one of the largest healthcare systems in the Philadelphia region, you'll operate advanced computed tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images that physicians rely on for patient care. This part-time position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in medical imaging while maintaining schedule flexibility. What You'll Do

• Explain CT procedures to patients in clear, compassionate language and address their questions and concerns
• Position patients accurately for imaging studies and ensure their comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Operate CT scanning equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer specifications
• Monitor patients during imaging and respond appropriately to any medical needs that arise
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain meticulous records of patient information, imaging parameters, and radiation exposure
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards consistently
• Support a welcoming environment for patients who may be anxious or unfamiliar with medical procedures

Requirements

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in radiography or CT, or equivalent credential recognized by your state
• Valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical activity as required by the role
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
