Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate respiratory status and determine appropriate interventions.
• Administer ordered respiratory therapies, oxygen management, and aerosol treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation parameters while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams during rounds and care planning.
• Educate patients and families on breathing techniques, equipment use, and home-care strategies.
• Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring advanced airway support or rapid respiratory intervention.
• Maintain respiratory equipment readiness and adhere to infection-control and safety standards throughout weekend shifts.

Who We're Looking For

• Current CRT or RRT credentials required for this CRT/RRT Weekend Option- $11/hour pay incentive position.
• Active state respiratory therapy license and BLS certification.
• Solid clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Prior hospital respiratory experience preferred; new graduates with strong foundational knowledge welcomes if fully certified.
• Reliability for consistent full-time weekend coverage and commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
