What This Role Involves

As a Crop Insurance Agent for Trucordia, you'll help Wisconsin farmers and agribusinesses protect their operations through comprehensive crop insurance coverage. You'll evaluate agricultural risks, consult with clients about their insurance needs, and recommend tailored policy solutions. Working in a remote capacity, you'll develop trusted relationships with clients, navigate coverage options, and support them throughout the policy lifecycle—from initial purchase through renewal and claims.

Responsibilities

• Assess crop protection and insurance needs for agricultural clients across Wisconsin
• Present crop insurance policy options, coverage limits, and premium details
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with farmers and agribusiness decision-makers
• Complete policy applications, verify client information, and manage documentation
• Provide ongoing support during policy renewals and claims processing
• Maintain knowledge of USDA crop insurance programs and policy updates
• Track sales metrics and contribute to the growth of Trucordia's agricultural client base

Requirements

• Prior sales experience or background in agriculture or insurance
