Contacts Manager – IT / Technology Procurement / Sourcing

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Contacts Manager for IT & Technology Procurement & Sourcing at our Trooper, Montgomery County location. As a full-time member of our procurement team, you'll direct vendor relationships and sourcing strategy across our IT procurement portfolio, translating market opportunities into measurable cost and operational improvements.

About the Role

This position leads category management and strategic sourcing for assigned IT procurement areas at Quest Diagnostics. You'll be responsible for identifying and implementing procurement strategies that strengthen our supplier partnerships, reduce expenditures, and enhance service delivery. Your work spans multiple IT categories and has direct impact on how effectively we deploy technology investments across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, professional services, telecommunications, and infrastructure categories
• Manage vendor networks and supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing
• Analyze procurement data and market conditions to uncover cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities
• Develop commercial agreements, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor compliance and performance
• Work with IT, finance, and operational teams to align procurement decisions with strategic objectives
• Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes and supplier management practices
• Serve as the primary liaison between Quest Diagnostics and key technology suppliers

What We're Looking For

• Background in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or supplier and vendor management
• Demonstrated success in category management or strategic sourcing roles
• Skill in vendor negotiation, contract management, and relationship building
• Understanding of IT procurement areas including hardware, software, services, telecommunications, and infrastructure
• Strong analytical capability to assess spending, identify savings, and track performance
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to influence across organizational lines
