About the Role

As an EHS Compliance Consultant at ERM, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and senior environmental specialists to help multinational organizations navigate complex regulatory frameworks and build resilient health and safety programs. You'll play a key role in developing comprehensive compliance strategies that protect both people and the environment while supporting business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Conduct environmental and health and safety assessments to identify regulatory risks and operational vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement EHS compliance documentation, procedures, and monitoring systems
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions that meet federal, state, and local requirements
• Support clients through compliance audits, inspections, and corrective action planning
• Research emerging environmental regulations and advise clients on implementation strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and regulatory standards
• Track regulatory changes and communicate updates to project teams and clients

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, OSHA standards, and industry-specific compliance requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail in regulatory interpretation and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental databases
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist are valued
