Right Of Way Agent (Field Based)

ERM is seeking a Right of Way Agent (Field Based) to join our team in Boston, Suffolk County. This part-time position offers a defined-term opportunity to support critical infrastructure projects in pipeline and electric transmission development.

The Opportunity

As a Right of Way Agent, you'll play a vital role in securing the land rights and permissions essential to bringing major energy infrastructure projects to completion. Your work directly enables the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and electric transmission facilities that serve regional communities. This field-based role combines property research, stakeholder engagement, and document management to advance strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Acquire and process land rights, easements, licenses, and leases needed for project development
• Prepare, review, and manage right-of-way documentation and legal agreements
• Coordinate with landowners, municipal authorities, and internal project teams
• Conduct field work to assess properties and document conditions
• Maintain organized records and filing systems for all transactional materials
• Support permit applications and compliance requirements for energy infrastructure
