About the Role

As part of Cortland’s property management team, the Community Relations Manager-Fountain Wood serves as the primary liaison between residents, local stakeholders, and the corporate office. This role focuses on fostering a welcoming atmosphere, addressing community concerns, and promoting initiatives that enhance quality of life at the Fountain Wood community.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement resident‑focused programs, events, and activities that encourage participation and satisfaction.
• Act as the first point of contact for resident inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring timely and courteous resolutions.
• Collaborate with property management staff to communicate policies, updates, and amenity information effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with neighborhood associations, local businesses, and civic organizations to support community integration.
• Monitor social media channels and online reviews, responding appropriately to protect and enhance the community’s reputation.
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on resident engagement metrics, incident trends, and program outcomes for leadership review.
• Support leasing teams by highlighting community strengths during prospect tours and promotional efforts.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and company standards in all resident interactions.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in community relations, resident services, or a similar role within multifamily housing or hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly.
• Excellent organizational abilities, including event planning, scheduling, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with standard office software and property management platforms; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
