About the Role
As Security Engineer in Boston, you'll bridge product development and security strategy. Your mission: ensure every feature, service, and integration meets stringent security standards before reaching our millions of users. You'll own security design reviews, threat modeling, and validation across our full product lifecycle—from architecture to deployment.
What You'll Do
- Lead security design reviews and threat modeling sessions with engineering teams
- Design, implement, and validate secure architectures for new products and services
- Conduct hands-on security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis
- Provide technical security guidance and establish secure coding practices
- Collaborate across teams to identify and remediate security gaps
- Stay current with emerging threats and evolving industry security standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions end-to-end
- Deep hands-on expertise in application security, cryptography, or infrastructure security
- Strong foundation in secure coding, authentication, and data protection
- Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within product development teams and shipping secure software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience
