About the Role
The Commercial Real Estate Loan Closer position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, expanding closing department. You'll operate with significant autonomy on loan closing tasks while remaining integrated with a skilled mortgage team that values both individual initiative and collaborative problem-solving. This full-time role sits at the heart of transaction completion within our Investment Mortgage business unit.
What You'll Do
- Execute closing documents and coordinate final transaction steps for commercial real estate loans
- Manage closing documentation for retail, industrial, multifamily, and office property transactions
- Review loan files, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues before closing
- Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth closings
- Prepare and organize closing statements, promissory notes, and mortgage instruments
- Maintain detailed records and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the closing process
- Communicate updates and manage timelines to keep transactions on track
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience closing commercial real estate loans
- Demonstrated competency with retail, industrial, multifamily, and office property closings
- Strong command of closing documentation and loan file requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions concurrently
