Good Samaritan is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) for a local traveler position serving our Sleepy Eye, Brown County community. About the Role
This part-time CMA position offers flexible, as-needed (PRN) scheduling with varying weekly hours at a salary range of $18.50–$28.00 per hour. As a local traveler certified medication assistant, you'll provide essential medication support to our residents across facilities in the Sleepy Eye area, working under nursing supervision to ensure safe, dignified care.
What You'll Do
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed protocols and under licensed nurse supervision
- Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report observations to nursing staff
- Support nursing teams in delivering consistent, compassionate elder care
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding resident needs and concerns
- Uphold all facility safety and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) certification
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings (preferred)
