In this full-time principal scientist role, you will lead clinical research strategy and execution across our oncology programs, directing development activities from preclinical investigation through post-market evaluation.
About the Role
The Clinical Director, Clinical Research position provides principal-level scientific leadership for hematology and oncology clinical development. You will oversee the planning and execution of clinical research programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, scientific rigor, and strategic advancement across all phases of development for both investigational and marketed medicines.
What You'll Do
- Plan and direct clinical research activities across the hematology and oncology therapeutic areas
- Lead the scientific strategy for clinical trials spanning preclinical through post-licensure phases
- Provide clinical expertise in trial design, implementation, and data analysis
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with internal and external research partners
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, GCP standards, and company protocols
- Oversee clinical trial safety monitoring, data integrity, and program governance
- Contribute to regulatory filings and scientific communications
What We're Looking For
- MD, DO, or PhD in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline
- Extensive experience in hematology and/or oncology clinical research
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory pathways
- Proven leadership in managing scientific teams and complex development programs
- Knowledge of GCP guidelines and pharmaceutical development standards
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience in an industry or academic research setting
