Veracity Insurance is seeking a full-time Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to join its team in Pleasant Grove, Utah County.
About the Role
The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will design and deliver learning initiatives that help employees grow their capabilities, prepare for future roles, and strengthen leadership impact throughout the business.
What You'll Do
- Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and define learning objectives.
- Create engaging curricula, workshops, e‑learning modules, and on‑the‑job resources.
- Implement career‑path frameworks and development plans that align with organizational goals.
- Measure program effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Maintain learning management systems and ensure content remains current and accessible.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and coaching sessions for emerging managers.
- Stay current with industry trends in adult learning and integrate best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience designing and delivering learning programs in a corporate setting.
- Proven expertise in building career development pathways and competency models.
- Strong instructional design skills, including experience with authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities, comfortable working with diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and improve learning outcomes.
- Effective communication and project‑management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
