Role Overview

The Clinic/Practice Assistant is a vital part of the healthcare team at Mass General Brigham. This role supports the operations and patient care in an OBGYN clinic setting. The assistant will be responsible for administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow to support our mission of providing exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Assist with appointment scheduling and coordination
• Manage patient records and medical documentation
• Process insurance claims and billing information
• Handle front desk duties, including greeting patients and answering inquiries
• Support clinical staff as needed for patient care coordination
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical office procedures preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in healthcare or administrative support roles is beneficial
