About This Position

This role involves leading M&A transactions across the region, taking full ownership from structuring to closing. The Assistant General Counsel will shape the legal strategy for complex M&A activities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions across the region, ensuring successful structuring and closure of deals.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to support business objectives and mitigate risks.
• Provide legal advice on various aspects including contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of M&A activities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes and legal frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
