This full-time position within our Rush Medical Group is based in our Chicago clinic, where you'll support clinical operations and help ensure exceptional patient experiences in a dynamic healthcare setting.

About the Role

As Clinic Coordinator for VBC Clinic, you are the vital link between patients and providers. Working a 10-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, you'll manage patient flow, coordinate appointments, and handle administrative support that keeps our clinic operating efficiently and patients satisfied.

What You'll Do

• Schedule and manage patient appointments to optimize provider availability and clinic flow
• Greet and check in patients, verify insurance coverage, and complete necessary intake documentation
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, confirm details, and address scheduling adjustments
• Support clinical providers with administrative and coordination tasks
• Maintain and organize patient medical records in compliance with privacy requirements
• Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and care
• Process referrals and coordinate care continuity

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with electronic health records and medical office software
• Compassion for patients and collaborative spirit with clinical staff
• Reliability and professional presence in all interactions
