About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential clean energy organization that is building cutting-edge data infrastructure from the ground up. Our client is backed by accomplished entrepreneurs and is focused on rapid execution and market validation. They need a hands-on leader who can architect scalable data systems with complete autonomy—no corporate bureaucracy, just fast execution and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute foundational data engineering initiatives in the clean energy domain from 0 to 1
- Translate strategic vision into concrete execution roadmaps and drive rapid implementation from prototype to production
- Architect scalable data solutions that support rapid growth and potential future institutional backing
- Report directly to leadership and collaborate with engineers, researchers, and commercial teams
- Drive critical technical milestones with complete end-to-end ownership
What We're Looking For
- Based in Europe or the Americas (remote arrangements available)
- Proven domain expertise in data engineering with a high-agency builder mindset
- Track record of building scalable data systems from scratch
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable with extreme ownership and minimal oversight—you thrive on autonomy
- Passion for clean energy and environmental impact
