About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in Colombia that is seeking a dedicated Patient Advocate to support patients navigating financial assistance programs and medication access. Responsibilities

• Enroll eligible patients in philanthropic aid and financial assistance programs
• Manage post-enrollment activities including claims submission and medication ordering
• Review patient enrollments for accuracy and completeness
• Escalate and appeal patient assistance denials when necessary
• Coordinate timely medication deliveries to designated pharmacies
• Order, receive, and maintain accurate logs of medication orders
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare partners
• Offer information to help patients make informed financial decisions about their care
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience working in healthcare (required)
• Proven track record in high-performance, high-accountability environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills and attention to detail
• Ability to offer emotional support and empathy to patients
• Passion for patient well-being and advocacy
• Ability to pass standard background check and drug screening
• Completion of medical clearance per health system requirements (including vaccination mandates)
• HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free home office environment

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:

• Cable or fiber internet provider (minimum 5 mbps download, 2 mbps upload)
• DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not permitted
• Separate modem and router with gigabit Ethernet ports
• At least two wired Ethernet connections available (wireless work is prohibited)
• Modem/router in workspace or Ethernet cord reaching workspace
