Class A HAZMAT Truck Driver — Clean Harbors, Red Oak, Fulton County. We're hiring a full-time, on-site Class A CDL driver to operate specialized hazmat trucks and provide emergency response services to customer locations throughout the region.
About the Role
As a Class A HAZMAT Truck Driver with Clean Harbors, you'll operate a specialized fleet of heavy-duty vehicles—including vacuum trucks, guzzlers, roll-off systems, and specialized containment equipment—to perform hazardous waste cleanup and environmental remediation at customer sites. This is a full-time position with on-call and travel requirements.
What You'll Do
- Operate Class A-certified vacuum trucks, guzzlers, roll-offs, and other industrial hazmat equipment at customer job sites
- Execute hazardous waste removal, containment, and cleanup operations following EPA and DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and equipment maintenance checks
- Complete operational logs and maintain required compliance documentation
- Respond to on-call emergency requests and environmental response situations
- Coordinate with field teams and customer personnel to ensure safe, efficient job execution
- Follow all safety protocols and hazardous materials handling procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT endorsement
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safety standards
- Excellent driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety
- Ability to work on-call shifts and travel to multiple job sites
