U.S. Xpress - OTR is hiring Class A CDL Company Drivers for full-time, over-the-road positions based in Risinger Woods, Caddo Parish. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking stable, high-paying work in the trucking industry.

About the Position

As an over-the-road truck driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR, you'll transport dry van cargo across the nation on a consistent schedule. With 1-5 months of commercial driving experience, you'll be well-positioned to earn strong weekly income. Solo drivers average 2,000 miles per week, while team driver positions offer around 5,000 miles weekly. The role operates on a 12-out/2-home rotation, providing predictable time away and home time.

What You'll Do Daily

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely across all US highways and routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Document all trips accurately in electronic logbooks and delivery records
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedules and any issues
• Maintain compliance with federal DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Deliver cargo on time while upholding the highest safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 1-5 months of commercial truck driving experience
• Ability to adapt to a 12-days-out/2-days-home work schedule
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and safe driving practices

Compensation

U.S. Xpress - OTR offers competitive, mileage-based compensation. Drivers earn 54 to 60 cents per mile depending on experience and performance. Top-performing drivers in our fleet consistently earn $1,725 per week. You'll also receive a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,200 and a $2,000 sign-on bonus to help you get started.
