About the Role

As a Claims Examiner focused on New York No-Fault PIP files, you will take ownership of complex claims from intake through resolution. This on-site position in Talcott Village, Hartford County, demands sharp analytical judgment and the litigation knowledge needed to navigate disputed and contested matters with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjudicate New York No-Fault PIP claims in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage litigated files, partnering with defense counsel and coordinating strategy on contested claims.
• Review medical documentation, billing, and supporting records to determine coverage and benefit eligibility.
• Negotiate and resolve claims fairly, accurately, and within authority limits.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and timely communication with all parties throughout the claim lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience handling New York No-Fault / PIP claims.
• Litigation experience is required for this role.
• Strong understanding of applicable claims regulations, medical terminology, and coverage interpretation.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently while meeting deadlines on-site in Talcott Village, Hartford County.
