About the Role

As a Claim Examiner specializing in General Liability and Product Liability, you will manage multi-state claims from initial review through resolution. This is a full-time, hybrid position that combines on-site collaboration in Baton Rouge with the flexibility of remote work. Appropriate adjuster licensing is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjudicate general liability and product liability claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess coverage, determine liability, and establish reserves in line with company guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Negotiate fair and timely settlements while managing claim costs effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with claimants, clients, attorneys, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with the licensing and regulatory requirements of each state in which claims are handled.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster licensing as required for multi-state claim handling.
• Experience examining general liability and/or product liability claims.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple jurisdictions in a hybrid work setting.
