This 10-month position places you directly in the Riverview community, where you'll provide meaningful mental health support to young people navigating the challenges that shape their futures. What You'll Do
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy services to children and youth within the Riverview School District catchment area
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for youth in acute distress
- Collaborate with school staff, educators, and community partners to coordinate care and support student well-being
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case records in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for child and adolescent populations
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related clinical field
- Current Missouri licensure or eligibility for licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or provisional equivalent)
- Direct experience providing therapy to children, youth, or families
- Strong assessment skills and familiarity with trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice
- Ability to build trust with young clients while navigating complex family and school-system dynamics
- Comfort working in a collaborative, values-driven environment that embraces growth and honest dialogue
