About the Role
Robert Half seeks an accomplished financial leader to build and oversee a comprehensive financial planning and analysis function. You'll establish budgeting frameworks, monitor organizational performance against strategic objectives, and translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for senior leadership. This role demands both strategic vision and operational rigor—partnering closely with executives across all departments to ensure financial health and alignment with business goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans aligned with corporate strategy
- Lead variance analysis and performance reporting; communicate financial results and insights to the executive team
- Build financial models to evaluate new opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee accounting controls, consolidations, and financial close processes
- Partner with department heads to support decision-making through scenario planning and business case analysis
- Mentor and develop finance team members; establish best practices for the function
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role
- Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and performance management
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms)
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior leadership
- CPA or MBA preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
- Proven track record managing and mentoring finance teams
- Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP) and internal controls
