Chief of Staff – Stragegie & Operations (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential facility services organization in Berlin that is seeking a Chief of Staff for Strategy & Operations. In this role, you will work directly with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational performance, and scale organizational processes. You will serve as a sparring partner to senior management, translating vision into actionable projects while maintaining company-wide visibility on performance and growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central communication and coordination interface between executive leadership and department heads
• Translate strategic priorities into concrete goals, projects, and measurable initiatives alongside the management team
• Oversee and track company-wide initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, KPIs, and adherence to deadlines
• Establish and facilitate regular management and performance review sessions with responsible leaders
• Prepare management reports, analyses, and decision-making materials that provide transparency across business units
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, developing solutions collaboratively with functional teams
• Analyze existing processes and structures, driving standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement
• Develop scalable structures and processes that support efficient growth
• Lead selected strategic special projects from concept through implementation
• Challenge existing approaches constructively and bring an enterprise-wide perspective to key decisions
• Ensure that decisions translate into concrete actions and actions into measurable results

What We're Looking For

• University degree in business administration, management, economics, law, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in a strategic or operational steering role, such as operations, management consulting, business development, project/program management, or as a chief of staff
• Strong understanding of business context, processes, and operational value drivers
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly structure complex situations and reduce them to critical points
• Experience working with KPIs, performance management, and reporting
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills, particularly when engaging with senior leaders
• Ability to bring together different perspectives while consistently driving toward decisions and results
• High degree of personal responsibility, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality
• Confident use of Excel and data-based analysis
• Experience in a dynamic growth environment is advantageous
• Experience in facility management or a comparable operational service industry is a plus but not required
• Fluency in German is essential for this role
