CEO – AI Neobank

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization expanding its digital banking capabilities across Asia. We are seeking a CEO to build and lead an AI-native neobank from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to define and own an entirely new banking business, using artificial intelligence to reimagine how consumers manage money, make transactions, and build savings.

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a distributed, fast-moving international environment with teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI neobank proposition, product roadmap, and business model from inception
• Build AI-native experiences across accounts, cards, payments, savings, and money management
• Leverage AI to automate and enhance financial decisions, customer workflows, and servicing capabilities
• Own full P&L accountability including customer acquisition, deposits, revenue, unit economics, and operating costs
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to ship the product
• Build and lead the core team with necessary banking, technology, and operational capabilities
• Drive banking partnerships, regulatory readiness, and market expansion strategy

What We're Looking For

• Deep experience in digital banking, neobanks, or consumer fintech
• Proven track record of direct P&L ownership for a significant banking product or business
• Strong understanding of banking products, economics, operations, and regulatory frameworks
• Exceptional product judgment with ability to identify where AI creates materially better banking experiences
• Demonstrated success building and scaling technology products and teams
• Hands-on operating capability—able to work directly through product flows, economics, customer problems, and execution details
• Strong English communication skills required for global team collaboration
