What This Role Involves

As a CDL-A hopper truck driver with H&M Trucking, you'll operate specialized 43-foot grain hoppers equipped with modern air-ride trailers, hauling freight across long-distance routes. This is hands-on, over-the-road work that requires skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You'll manage pre-trip inspections, navigate multi-state routes, maintain accurate logs, and consistently deliver loads on schedule while upholding DOT compliance standards. We're looking for drivers who take pride in safe operation and maintaining clean inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 43-foot high-sided grain hopper trailers with air-ride suspension
• Transport freight across multi-state over-the-road routes
• Complete comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain required logbooks and ensure full DOT regulation compliance
• Meet delivery timelines while prioritizing safety
• Maintain a clean safety and inspection record

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Minimum 12 months of commercial truck driving experience
• Clean driving record and employment history
• Ability to pass background checks and DOT medical certification
