About the Role
You'll operate modern 43-foot hopper trailers equipped with air-ride suspension, transporting grain freight over regional and long-haul routes. This is a full-time, over-the-road position with H&M Trucking, part of one of America's largest hopper trucking fleets. You'll manage your rig independently while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate 43-foot high-sided hopper trailers with air-ride systems for grain transport
- Navigate interstate routes safely and efficiently, meeting delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and logbook requirements
- Communicate with dispatch and maintain professional customer relations
- Secure and monitor cargo loads during transit
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid CDL-A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 12 months of commercial trucking experience
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable attendance and consistent performance
Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive compensation starting at 63 cents per mile, with supplemental pay averaging $150 weekly. Drivers earning clean inspections receive safety bonus incentives.
