About the Role
As a CDL-A driver with Just In Time Express, you'll operate a commercial vehicle on established regional routes throughout the Southeast, with guaranteed weekly home time. This is a full-time position focused on safe, reliable regional transportation rather than long-haul interstate work.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial truck on assigned regional routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate logbooks and driving records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule to assigned destinations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, and delivery status
- Follow company safety protocols and maintain a professional driving record
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience
- Clean driving record with focus on safety and compliance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and professional customer service approach
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay begins at $0.60–$0.65 per mile, with increases available after your first year. You'll receive weekly paychecks, safety performance bonuses, and consistent regional work that gets you home every week.
