Drivers in this role typically log 400 to 500 miles per week and earn a total weekly average of $1,000 to $1,100.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed and tanker trailer on local, dedicated routes
- Complete day shift runs while maintaining on-time, professional service
- Participate in load and unload duties (approximately 50% driver load/unload)
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your equipment
- Follow all DOT, safety, and hours-of-service regulations
- Keep accurate logs and required transport documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Experience operating flatbed and/or tanker trailers preferred
- Comfortable handling load and unload responsibilities
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe operation
- Ability to work a dedicated day shift on a solo basis
