About the Role

This is a full-time, local CDL-A flatbed position running out of Plantersville, Grimes County. The role is structured as a 1099 solo contract driver assignment, with day-shift hauling on a flatbed trailer and absolutely no tarping required. You control your own schedule, work a predictable 5-days-on, 2-days-off rotation, and finish each week back at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed trailer on dedicated local routes around Plantersville and Grimes County.
• Cover roughly 500 to 1,500 miles per week on a consistent day-shift schedule.
• Maintain safe, on-time deliveries while keeping equipment and freight secure.
• No driver load or unload duties and no tarping — your focus stays on the road.
• Set your own working hours within the regular weekly rotation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license, free of the (E) no-manual-transmission restriction.
• Comfortable handling flatbed freight on local lanes.
• A TWIC card is considered a plus, though not required.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 solo contract driver.

Compensation

• Average gross pay of $1,000 to $1,500 per week.
• $500 sign-on bonus for new drivers.
• Day shift with home time every weekend (5 on, 2 off).
