About the Role
As a CDL A solo OTR dry van driver with BALKAN EXPRESS LLC, you will haul freight across long-distance lanes using our modern, well-maintained equipment. This is a full-time, on-the-road position based out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, built for professional drivers who take pride in safe, reliable, on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor pulling dry van trailers safely across OTR routes
- Complete solo long-haul runs while meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations
- Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready
- Maintain accurate logs and stay compliant with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and take an active role in planning your routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Verifiable OTR experience operating dry van equipment
- Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety
- Willingness to run solo over-the-road and spend extended time on the road
- Dependable, self-directed, and able to manage a flexible schedule
