Pay is mileage-based, ranging from 57 to 64 cents per mile depending on your experience, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500 (on a 12-days-out, 2-days-home schedule). Top-performing OTR drivers — the leading 20% — bring home around $1,700 per week. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is included for solo drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer safely over long-haul OTR routes
- Transport dry van freight on time and in good condition
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required logs
- Communicate with dispatch to keep deliveries on schedule
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- 1 to 5 months of recent verifiable driving experience required
- Willingness to run an OTR schedule of approximately 12 days out and 2 days home
