About the Role
As a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist with Merck, you'll act as the trusted point of contact for healthcare customers across your assigned territory. Working from the Atlanta, Fulton County area, you'll combine deep scientific knowledge with strong relationship-building to support better cardiovascular outcomes. This is a collaborative position embedded within a local Customer Team, where your daily work directly shapes how clinicians understand and apply Merck's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for customers within your designated territory, building durable, science-led partnerships.
- Communicate Merck's cardiovascular expertise clearly and credibly to healthcare professionals.
- Partner with Account Executives, Integrated Delivery Systems leaders, and fellow field colleagues to deliver a unified, seamless customer experience.
- Identify customer needs and align Merck's scientific resources to support informed clinical decisions.
- Contribute to meaningful patient impact by representing Merck with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and clearly convey complex cardiovascular and scientific information.
- Strong collaboration skills for working effectively within a cross-functional Customer Team.
- Customer-focused mindset with the relationship management skills needed to operate across an assigned territory.
- Comfort engaging with healthcare providers and system-level stakeholders such as Integrated Delivery Systems leaders.
- Willingness to work on-site/in the field in and around Atlanta, Fulton County (this role is not remote).
