Business Development Manager – Lyon

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential foodtech platform in their search for a Business Development Manager based in Lyon. Our client is at the forefront of a rapidly expanding sector, connecting consumers with local businesses through innovative technology. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced commercial team driving significant growth across France.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sign new restaurant and retail partners through phone outreach and in-person meetings
• Generate daily call volume to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Conduct field visits at least 3 days per week to develop your territory in Lyon
• Present and sell the platform's value proposition, adapting your pitch to each prospective partner
• Lead commercial negotiations from initial contact through to contract signature
• Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain rigorous CRM tracking
• Support partners post-signature and provide regular activity reports to management

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 minimum) or equivalent commercial experience
• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in field-based roles
• Comfort with direct merchant outreach and relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Autonomous, organized, and results-driven approach
• Interest in restaurant industry and food technology sector
• Valid driver's license (Permis B) preferred
• Fluency in French required for this role
