About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is transforming how medical professionals communicate and deliver care across the UK. This Business Development Manager role is based in London (Shoreditch) and offers a unique opportunity to build go-to-market strategies across Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland from the ground up.
This is a genuine blank canvas role. You will own three distinct health systems, each with its own clinical infrastructure, procurement processes, governance frameworks, and digital priorities. Your mission is to define what success looks like in each nation and build the repeatable sales motion to achieve it.
Responsibilities
- Build and own pipeline across Scottish and Welsh health boards, clusters, primary care networks, GP federations, and Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland
- Manage deals at every level—from high-velocity practice subscriptions to complex, multi-stakeholder board-level agreements
- Navigate technical conversations with confidence, discussing integrations, APIs, deployment models, and assurance requirements with eHealth teams and information governance leads
- Convert pilot programs into scaled, paid contracts rather than allowing them to remain in perpetual trial status
- Develop territory models using list sizes, usage data, adoption metrics, and pipeline intelligence to inform national versus practice-level strategies
- Create documented, repeatable go-to-market playbooks for each nation to enable future scaling
- Adapt sales approaches to the unique structures and decision-making processes in each health system
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as a deal-closer who consistently meets or exceeds sales targets
- Experience managing both quick transactional deals and extended enterprise sales cycles (12+ months with multiple stakeholders)
- Technical fluency—able to understand product integrations, explain them to technical audiences, and maintain credibility in detailed technical discussions
- Comfort navigating complexity including clinical systems, interoperability, deployment routes, and information governance
- Strategic thinking capability to build territory plans from scratch, justify decisions, and pivot when market conditions change
- Data-driven approach with strong skills in spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and reporting tools
- Self-starter mentality who thrives in unmapped territory without established playbooks
- Mission-driven motivation to improve healthcare delivery systems
