About This Position

As a Box Office Ticket Scanner at the Fillmore in New Orleans, you'll play a vital role in the guest experience at one of the area's premier live music venues. This full-time position involves scanning and validating tickets at entry points, managing crowd flow, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for thousands of music fans attending concerts and events throughout the year. You'll work directly with patrons, operate ticket scanning technology, and help ensure a seamless entry process that sets the tone for their entire evening.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan and validate tickets at venue entry points using handheld or stationary scanning equipment
• Verify ticket authenticity and check patron identification when required
• Direct guests to appropriate seating areas and answer questions about venue layout and amenities
• Monitor attendance data and report ticket volumes to management
• Maintain clear communication with security and venue staff to ensure safe, efficient guest processing
• Handle inquiries about seating, events, and venue policies with professionalism and courtesy
• Identify and report fraudulent or invalid tickets to supervisory staff
